Baked Stuffing Rolled Chicken Breasts

I was going through some of the many pictures of food that I have taken over the years and found that I had not posted this recipe for Baked Stuffing Rolled Chicken Breasts. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Follow directions to make Stove Top Stuffing and then set aside. For this recipe you will need thin chicken breast, or pound chicken till thin. Sprinkle each breast with  a small amount of minced garlic, pepper and basil. Lay some stuffing in the center of each breast.

Roll each breast and lay into a baking pan coated with cooking spray.

Then lay the leftover stove top stuffing around the chicken.

Cover with foil and bake in 400 oven for 30 minutes. While chicken is cooking make a packaged chicken gravy. Keep warm on stove top. Remove chicken from oven and sprinkle with grated Swiss cheese.

Turn broiler on and return chicken to oven. Broil until cheese is melted and golden.

Pour gravy over chicken and stuffing.

Baked Stuffing Rolled Chicken Breasts

4 boneless skinless chicken breast
1 pkg. Stove Top Stuffing
2 t. minced garlic
2 t. pepper
2 t. basil
1 1/2 cup grated Swiss cheese
1 pkg. chicken gravy mix

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lay chicken breast out flat and pound until thin. Make the stuffing following directions on box. Sprinkle each breast with the garlic, pepper and basil. In the center of each breast place a few spoonful’s of stuffing. Roll each chicken breast around the stuffing and place in a baking dish coated with cooking spray. Lay the leftover stuffing around the chicken. Cover baking dish with foil and bake in a 400 degree oven for 30 minutes. While chicken is baking make gravy following package directions. Keep warm. Remove chicken from oven and turn on broiler. Remove foil and cover each chicken breast with grated Swiss cheese. Broil until cheese has melted and golden in color. When cheese has melted remove from oven and pour some of the gravy over the chicken and stuffing.
