Grilled Bacon Wrapped Chicken Skewers

Now that the nice weather is here it is time to get outside and do some grilling. One of my favorites are these Grilled Bacon Wrapped Chicken Skewers. In a large container empty package of McCormick Grill Mates Chipotle Pepper Marinade  (or if you do not have that one you can choose any other Grill Mate marinade that you prefer for chicken.) Add 1/4 cup water, 2 T. white vinegar and 1/4 cup olive oil. Add chicken tenders to the marinade and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or longer.

Once the chicken has marinated wrap a piece of bacon around each chicken tender and thread onto skewer. I did three tenders per skewer.

Use a brush and rub leftover marinade onto outside of bacon. Line a grilling pan with aluminum foil and place the skewers on the pan. If you don’t do this the bacon grease drippings will cause the grill to flame and burn the bacon and chicken. Preheat grill to medium heat. Grill the skewers over medium heat for about 8 minutes on each side.

When bacon is golden and crispy and chicken juices run clear they are ready to be served. Enjoy.

Grilled Bacon Wrapped Chicken Skewers

McCormick Grill Mates Chipotle Pepper Marinade (or any other McCormick Marinade you like best)
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup olive oil
2 T. white vinegar
2 lb. chicken tenders
1 package bacon

In a large container mix McCormick marinade, water, olive oil and vinegar. Add chicken tenders and refrigerate at least 30 minutes. Wrap tenders with bacon and thread onto skewer. Brush leftover marinade onto the bacon chicken skewers. Line a grilling pan with aluminum foil to catch the grease and prevent flare ups. Preheat grill to medium heat and grill skewers for about 8 minutes on each side until the bacon is golden and crispy and chicken runs clear. Serve.
